Holanda: en US$ 99 mil millones estiman el valor de las ventas de la industria de alimentos elaborados

The turnover of the Dutch food processing industry in 2021 (most recent data available) was valued at $99 billion. There are almost 8,500 food processing companies active in the Netherlands and together they account for over 150,000 jobs. The industry is largely depends on imported (unprocessed) ingredients. The majority of its finished goods, however, are sold in foreign markets.

The food processing report also describes the quick increase of important costs for the food industry and that the effects of these cost increases are affecting consumer prices for foodstuffs.
