EE.UU: 8% disminuye stock de tomate procesado a marzo 2020
According to the report released on 19 March 2020 by the California League of Food Producers, total inventories of U.S. processed tomato products were approximately 7.6 million short tons (sT) (6.87 million metric tonnes (mT), stated on a raw product equivalent basis, as of 1 March 2020.
Inventory is down 8.1% from the prior year level. Apparent disappearance of tomato stocks has decreased 8.6%, totaling approximately 9.5 million sT (8.64 million mT) during the nine-month period running 1 June 2019 to 1 March 2020, as compared to the prior reporting period.
Total bulk tomato paste stocks, including inventory held for remanufacture, were estimated to total approximately 5.4 million sT (4.94 million mT), on a raw product “paid-for tons” equivalent basis, as of 1 March 2020.
The U.S. bulk tomato paste-for-sale inventory on 1 March 2020 was approximately 3.6 million sT (3.28 million mT), on a raw product “paid-for tons” equivalent basis.
