China/Nueces: USDA pronostica que producción 2024/25 alcanzará récord de 1.500.000 toneladas

Production MY 2024/2025 is forecast up 11 percent to a record 1.5 million tons on favorable growing conditions. Although domestic consumption is expected to account for 80 percent of output, exports to Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates have risen sharply in recent years and this trend is expected to continue. Imports are expected to remain nearly flat at just 15,000 tons as consumers continue to rely on domestic output.
