UE: revisan límites máximos de residuos para dinocap
EFSA Journal 2011;9(8):2340 [33 pp.]. doi:10.2903/j.efsa.2011.2340
Dinocap was included in Annex I to Directive 91/414/EEC was taken on 01 January 2007, which is before the entry into force of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on 02 September 2008. EFSA is therefore required to provide a reasoned opinion on the review of the existing MRLs for that active substance in compliance with Article 12(2) of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005. However, the Annex I inclusion of dinocap already expired on 31 December 2009 and the use of this active substance is therefore no longer authorised within the EU. Considering that no import tolerances were notified by designated rapporteur Member State Austria, EFSA based its assessment mainly on the conclusions derived in the framework of Directive 91/414/EEC and the MRLs established by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
