According to Article 6 of the Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the United Kingdom, herewith referred to as the Evaluating Member State (EMS), received an application from the Horticultural Development Company to modify the existing MRLs for the active substance fludioxonil in fresh herbs, spinach and beet leaves, lettuce, lamb`s lettuce, cress, scarole, rocket/rucola and leaves and sprouts of Brassica spp. In order to accommodate for the intended indoor and outdoor uses of fludioxonil on these crops in the United Kingdom it is proposed to raise the existing MRLs to 15 mg/kg. The EMS United Kingdom drafted an evaluation report according to Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 which was submitted to the European Commission and forwarded to EFSA on 23 June 2011.
