UE: autoridad alimentaria modifica límite máximo de residuo de folpet en uvas y tomates

In accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, Austria, herewith referred as the evaluating Member State (EMS), received an application from Makhteshim Agan to modify the existing MRL(s) for the active substance folpet in wine grapes, garlic and tomatoes. In order to accommodate for the intended uses of folpet, it is proposed to raise the existing MRL(s) from the value of 5 mg/kg to 8 mg/kg on wine grapes, from the value of 0.02* mg/kg to 0.1 mg/kg on garlic and from 2 mg/kg to 4 mg/kg on tomatoes. Austria drafted an evaluation report according to Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, which was submitted to the European Commission and forwarded to EFSA on 25 October 2010.
