Tomates/Canadá: esperan menor producción debido a malas condiciones climáticas

 Unfavourable weather conditions have brought severe disruption to the Canadian tomato crop, as sources in the country maintain this year’s production could be one of the lowest in recent years.

Plant development was disrupted early on in the season, with two frosts that occurred in mid-spring, when seeds were being planted. This caused loss of plants in fields across Ontario, Canada’s core tomato growing region.
