NOTIFICATION

6. | Description of content: The imported canned food shall be manufactured by officially approved manufacturers. The official certificate issued by competent authority or the relevant organization (institution) authorized by the competent authority shall be provided for importation. The contents of the official certificate shall include:
1. Name and a lot number of product; 2. pH value of canned food; 3. Water activity (Aw) of canned food; 4. Serial number of official certificate; 5. Name of manufacturers; 6. Code name/Code number of manufacturers; 7. Declarations of “the product is fit for human consumption”; and 8. Sterilizing Value (F0), if the canned food with pH value larger than 4.6 and water activity (Aw) greater than 0.85. (acidified canned food excluded) |
