Jun. 21, 2013Reino Unido: estudio señala que azúcar en jugos de fruta no constituye riesgo para diabetes
The fruit juice industry, and especially the health fanatics, should stop worrying about the risks posed to consumers by the sugar content of pure fruit juices, according to a researcher in the UK.
Dr Pamela Dyson, who works for a diabetes charity at a hospital in the UK, told the annual British Fruit Juice Symposium that the small risk posed by the sugar in pure fruit juices (she emphasised that she was separating pure juice from nectars and sugar-sweetened soft drinks) was far outweighed by the other health benefits derived from drinking fruit juice.
