Maersk planea nuevo aumento en sus precios a partir del 1 de agosto
Rates on cargo from North-east Asia to Australia will increase $300 per TEU and $600 per TEU.
Rates on cargo from Far East Asia to West Africa will rise $150 per 20-foot container.
From Far East Asia to South Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands, Maersk’s planned increase will be $300 per 20-foot container and $600 per 40-foot/high cube container.
From South-east Asia to Australia, the carrier will push its rates up by $300 per 20-foot container and $600 per 40-foot container.
Separately, Maersk said it will impose a rate hike on shipments from Far East Asia to the east coast of South America, starting July 15. The planned increase on dry cargo will be $500 per 20-foot container and $1,000 per 40-foot/45-foot container.
