Industria mundial de frutos secos estaría cubierta hasta el 2013
The global dried fruit industry is concentrating on logistics and last-minute coverings, FOODNEWS understands. A few crops such as apples from China and walnuts from the US and Eastern Europe are late to come on stream this year, causing a headache for traders.
Prices are fairly stable, however, as buyers are uninterested in future coverings beyond the end of the year holidays and Asian the New Year festivals, due to higher food prices.
