EE.UU.: Compañía de berries de Oregon fue vendida en US$ 50 millones
A Willamette Valley fruit company has been sold to a Washington company as part of a $50 million, all-cash deal.
Oregon Potato Co., which is actually headquartered in Pasco, Washington, has bought Salem’s Willamette Valley Fruit Co. as well as the Illinois-based Rader Farms from Inventure Foods.
OPC grows potatoes, vegetables and fruits in Pasco and near the Columbia River in Boardman, Oregon.
In the same release, Frank Tiegs, president of OPC, said the company looks forward to completing the acquisition and sees the new brands as “a strong complement to our existing potato, vegetable and fruit business.”
