Duraznos: cosecha en China, Grecia y EE.UU será menor que el año pasado
The Californian peach crop will be smaller this year than it was last year, meaning that little will be left for the export market, FOODNEWS has been told. This makes three small crops in the three largest producers.
It appears that canners mainly intend to supply the domestic market, where demand has been decreasing recently. FOODNEWS has heard one account that there will be “little if any product” going for export. Judging by the figures California has published so far, it seems unlikely that there will be a drastic shortfall in product on the market.
