Ciruelas deshidratadas/EE.UU: USDA anticipa aumento de cosecha
The US looks set for a larger prune crop this year, the USDA confirmed in a new report, produced in co-operation with the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) said that the California dried plum (prune) crop was forecast at 95,000 dried tonnes, up 12% from the 85,000 tonnes produced in 2013. Total 2014 bearing area was estimated at 49,000 acres.
