Chile leads exports of fruit pulp
According to a TradeMap report, worldwide Chilean fruit pulp exports reached US$ 2,690 millions in 2012.
In this figure the main fruits are classified under “200799” other pulps. (Click here to see the table) In this category Chile ranks first in the world ranking according to the exported volume.
Trademap considers other two categories of products other than the above. One category of harmonized products containing sugar and the other includes fruit pulp of sour species.
In both categories, our country does not participate massively because of the type of products produced and exported.
Consequently, for the relevant products that Chile supplies our country is the world leader in exports (export volume in tones)
