Arándanos/EE.UU: estiman producciones mixtas en diversos Estados
EARLY estimates for 2011 blueberry production in North America paint a mixed picture. Michigan is likely to have produced 40 million lbs of processed blueberries, compared with 51 million lbs in 2010.
Michigan’s fresh production is also projected down, to 35 million lbs in 2011 against 55 million lbs last year. British Columbia looks to have produced 50-60 million lbs of processed blueberries this year, compared with 40 million lbs in 2010, but the region’s fresh output is estimated to be down to 43 million lbs, against 50 million lbs last year.
