Turquía: ventas de alimentos para retail son US$ 76 mil millones

The retail food industry, with grocery sales topping $76 billion in 2021, continues to grow amid recent economic
difficulties. This growth is largely fueled by Turkey’s young, heavily urbanized population, and a growing
middle class.

In the last decade, several foreign grocery chains have exited the market, while domestic chains have quickly expanded, especially discount outlets.
