Consumers are especially interested in healthier, more convenient, nutritious, and high-quality products. According to the November 2022 Euromonitor report on staple foods in the Netherlands,
Dutch consumers have been spending less time at home and more time eating out at restaurants and bars. However, during the last few months in 2023, consumers are also shifting to cheaper food options, private labels, and shopping between different supermarkets.
